The Duke Pitchforks with the Plantation Singers
All-male a capella group The Duke Pitchforks return to Charleston for the tenth year, to perform a range of songs from contemporary hits to old standards, February 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Circular Congregational Church. The Pitchforks’ past two albums have each won the CARA award for Best Male Collegiate Album in the nation. The Pitchforks will be joined by Charleston’s own Plantation Singers, one of the most renowned a capella and percussion gospel groups in the southeast. Formed in 1996 by Charleston native Lynnette White, the group has performed across the nation as well as internationally, and they are well known for their ability to reach out and draw a crowd into their performance.
